Woohoo my first game review. I play my fair share of games so listen to me when I say my misfit fingers can conquer any game that doesn't require too much of my brain cells as many of them have already been depleted by years of gaming.
Anyway, once I picked up my Wii remote and nunchuk and turned on Mario Strikers my depleting brain waves perked up in a fit of shock. Because it's much more than the average random nintendo mario based football games with the pace of a cheetah with its tail aflame, GOD NO!
First of all the fact that you can charge tackle by smacking enemies with the Wii remote lets out my contained anger which I usually relieve by destroying countries. Ever wondered what happened to Persia? Thats right....
Woah sorry. Next theres the great scoring system where you can even score up to 6 goals at one time, See ''STRIKING THE MEGA.''
The pick of mental characters includes Mario (duh) Luigi (the less famous bro) Donkey kong (Bulky ape stereotype) and many many more (like 5 others hehehe).
I tried the online mode many times and got 3 out of 7 wins. Its more, whats the word im looking for.....Impossible. Still it's fun to play someone else because then you can actually say they were cheating to make you feel better about your suckiness, sniff sniff.

STRIKING THE MEGA
Performing Megastrikes is so simple even someone like me could almost understand. Simply run across the field and hold down shoot as your captain. You'll enter a mega bar try to get into the orange but no matter what you do youll fly into the air and smack it one! Now you can get up to 6 goals depending on what colour you chose.
OVERALL
Graphics: 8/10 Amazing attention to detail but nothing too exciting.
Style: 9/10 Triumph! The Mario style lives on.
Sound: 8/10 Great effects & good voice acting.
Gameplay: 9/10 Original and stress relieving, cool.
Lifespan: 9/10 Addicting and ENORMOUS if you have online.
A great Game that goes up in the Wii Hall of fame.
